Winter Webinar Series

We are delighted to bring you the first titles in our series of winter webinars. We've got some great topics lined up, starting with discussing non-native fish, looking in particular at the case of the Pink salmon which has turned up this year in many Scottish rivers.
Then we will be joined by several projects using a variety of alternative environmental control methods to tackle invasive plants. We'll be hearing about biological control - the rust fungus on Himalayan balsam and water fern munching weevils - as well as mechanical control and the use of conservation grazing to control Giant hogweed.
- Thursday 4th November, 7pm - Impacts of invasive species on fish populations - the case of the Pink salmon.
