Interview with BBC Radio 4 - Farming Today

Our famous flock have been getting a lot of interest recently as their hogweed munching exploits make the headlines.

We were recently joined by journalist Richard Baynes when he visited our trial site near Macduff in Aberdeenshire, where we have been running a giant hogweed sheep grazing trial since 2019.

Richard spoke with Project Officer Karen Muller and Dan Gordon of Kirkside Farm, landowner of the trial site, about the work we’ve been doing on the site and the progress the sheep have made tackling the significant giant hogweed infestation.

The story featured on the Farming Today programme on BBC radio 4 during 'Sheep Week' from 19th-22nd June. You can tune in on BBC Sounds to hear it in the first three minutes of the programme.
